Renewable energy projects can have significant environmental issues.  The impact to desert tortoise, golden eagles, Mojave ground squirrels, and other species can cause costly delays and redesign concerns. Sapphos Environmental, Inc. has, on staff, permitted biologists who are experienced in assessing the risk posed by these species.  They also have worked with state and federal agency personnel to achieve innovative resolution to mitigation and restoration requirements. Over 100,000 acres of renewable energy projects have been surveyed in California and Montana.

Sapphos Environmental, Inc. has achieved a 100 percent entitlement rate on renewable energy projects resulting in nearly 2,000 megawatts of solar and wind renewable energy. In addition, Sapphos Environmental, Inc. has a 100 percent success record in litigation. Of the hundreds of documents the firm has prepared, only 11 projects (12 cases) have been the subject of litigation. In each instance, the firm’s client prevailed and was able to proceed to project implementation.
