energy

Although oil is anticipated to remain the primary source of energy for the foreseeable future in the United States, natural gas, wind, and solar are expected to see rapid growth in the coming years. The renewable energy industry promises to fight global warming, create jobs, and reduce America’s dependence on fossil fuels.  Sapphos Environmental, Inc. is experienced with all aspects of siting and permitting renewable and conventional energy projects such as wind and solar facilities, power transmission corridor, generation tie lines, and power plants, from initial site characterization and fatal flaw studies to project approval, construction, and mitigation monitoring. Sapphos Environmental, Inc. has the expertise to bring energy projects through the entitlement process successfully and cost-effectively through cooperative relationships with federal, state, and county permitting agencies.  Sapphos Environmental, Inc. has conducted field investigations and prepared environmental documents and technical studies for multiple energy projects in the southwestern United States. These documents have enabled the design of projects that avoid impacts to sensitive resources, thus shortening the time from project inception to operation and income generation.
