Environmental Compliance Specialist (CEQA/NEPA)

Sapphos Environmental, Inc., is recruiting for an Environmental Compliance Coordinator/Project Manager. Candidates will have a proven record of accomplishment in California Environmental Qualities Act (CEQA) and/or National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance, project management, technical writing, research, public speaking, and business development.

 

 

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage projects and ensure successful project completion
  Maintain current knowledge of primary environmental statutes,  regulations, and processes
• Write sections for CEQA and NEPA documents, business correspondence, memoranda, proposals, and various other reports
• Secure new business for group
• Maintain and grow business relationships with clients
• Effectively communicate in meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

• CEQA and/or NEPA experience
• Environmental consulting experience
• Project management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Skills in using personal computers and be knowledgeable about MS Office

EDUCATION

The minimum requirement sought for this position is a Bachelors in environmental science, planning or policy, or a related field, plus 2 or more years of experience. Prior environmental (CEQA and NEPA) or entitlement consulting experience is required.

 

 

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is determined by level of education and experience.
