Company History

Founded in October 1992, Sapphos Environmental, Inc. continues its mission to provide environmental compliance services to both public- and private-sector clients. Marie Campbell, president of Sapphos Environmental, Inc., founded the firm after working in both the private sector and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. For over 25 years, Sapphos Environmental, Inc. has continued to grow and prosper, providing responsive, high-quality planning, resource management, and environmental compliance services, tailored to serve the unique needs of each client.


Sapphos Environmental, Inc. has provided over 7,500 delivery orders in excess of $87 million to nearly 600 clients, with contract values ranging from less than $1,000 to more than $2.5 million. Sapphos Environmental, Inc., a certified SBE/DBE/WBE, has completed hundreds of delivery orders pursuant to on-call contracts for environmental services with the California Department of Transportation, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, County of Los Angeles Departments of Parks and Recreation and Public Works, City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering, Great Basin Unified Air Pollution Control District, LA Metro, and SoCalGas.
